• Max Income for Freddie Mac HFA Advantage is 140% of AMI currently $90,860 in the Capital Area Parishes

• Available in East and West Baton Rouge, Pointe Coupee, West and East Feliciana, St. Helena, Lafayette,   Livingston, Ascension, Tangipahoa and Iberville Parishes

Program Borrower Qualifications

• The Capital Area Finance Authority’s loan program is for borrowers with acceptable credit.

• Borrowers must have a minimum credit score of at least 640 and a debt-to-income ratio not higher than 45%.

• The Authority's program is for 30-year fixed rate first mortgage loans.

• Applicants can obtain Freddie Mac HFA Advantage, FHA, VA, and RD loans in the Capital Area Parishes

• The Maximum annual income limit* for borrowers is $74,365* for FHA/VA/RD and $90,860* for Freddie Mac HFA.
